First Harvest of the Season
I was digging through this year's photos that I took but never blogged about and I found this one. It's a picture of the first harvest from my 2006 vegetable garden.
Those are Big Burpless Hybrid Cucumbers and Sunny Delight Patty Pan Squash. They won the prize for the first vegetables and the prize was a trip into my belly.
I think I'll grow them again this year. That squash was fantastic fried with some onions and garlic. Is it spring yet?

Well, I don't know about it being spring yet, but I already have garlic coming up!6:44 AMI have garlic coming up also. Does anyone know what to do? Will the garlic make it through the winter ok?
